By Danielle Flood
Staff Reporter

You are invited to a Halloween party in print.
     Place: The following paragraphs.
     Time: Now.
Judge Solomon Liss, of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, is peeking at the other guests from beneath the collar of a long black cape. Beyond the Headless Horseman of Baltimore, ballerina Camille Lizard is lugging a pumpkin and shifting her weight from one glass slipper to the other.
Johnny Unitas, the retired Colt quarterback, now a member of the team's front office, and a sportscaster, is here as himself. ("I'm not a costume man.")
